The Safe Center LI Training on Sexual Violence

This training program addresses the prevalence and scope of rape and sexual assault, social myths about sexual assault and how we can address the bystander effect to support victims. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the impact on sexual assault victims and services available in Nassau County to assist them.

 

The Safe Center is proud to provide workshops with social work CEUs to area professionals. We will be offering a variety of trainings based on the latest research in the areas of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and the effects of trauma on individuals and families. We update our calendar throughout the year, so check back regularly to see if new trainings have been added.

 

The Safe Center is recognized by New York State Education Department State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers. Provider No. 0179.
