Donna Jenson will perform her play, What She Knows: One Woman's Way Through Incest to Joy, with a Q&A session to follow.
Lunch will be provided.
Concurrent workshops in the afternoon include "A Time to Tell," a writing workshop exclusively for survivors of sexual trauma, led by Donna Jensen; "Beyond ACEs**: Intentional and Unintentional Consequences for Trauma Screening," co-led by Chrys Ballerano and Deb Faust; and "The Power of Music and Silence to Heal," led by Sharon Lastique. Chrys Ballerano will host a community drum circle, an interactive experience where participants can connect with their own sense of play and the healing, gentle power of rhythm.
A self-led self-care space with art and wellness supplies will also be available to support any individual who chooses to reflect individually or with a peer(s) rather than engage in any of the workshop offerings.
A detailed agenda is available here.
