Description
The Safety Net Project at the National Network to End Domestic Violence is excited to announce a webinar focusing on Digital Written Consent, including options for technology and considerations for confidentiality. Federal confidentiality guidelines require that when survivors want a victim service program to share information about them, the program must first obtain informed, time-limited, written consent. Remote consent might be needed in a variety of situations. We will focus on what to consider when identifying alternative options through a survivor-centered process, and how to navigate privacy and safety concerns with technology options.
When: Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 2-3:30 pm Eastern
Who this is for: Managers & Advocates at DV/SA Programs
Accessibility: The webinar will include closed captioning in English. Materials are in 14pt font in English. Please use the registration form to request other accommodations.
If you can’t wait for the webinar, or want to explore more information, see our resource on Digital Written Consent in our Confidentiality Toolkit at TechSafety.org.
