NYSCASA and NYSCADV, along with Rus Funk, gender and racial justice activist and consultant, are partnering to convene a virtual listening session. The focus of the discussion will be on hearing from you about your local strategies to invite men and boys into allyship roles in the movement to end gender based violence, what we’ve learned about what works and what doesn’t, what your priorities are, and how your statewide coalitions can support you in your efforts.
Who should attend: Registration is open to all NYSCADV & NYSCASA member program prevention educators and any member program staff tasked with designing and implementing prevention activities, programming, and strategies in their community. Listening sessions are designed to be a space for advocates to share their thoughts and views and to strategize with each other and with your state coalitions. We hope that you will join us for what we hope will be a lively and interactive discussion.
