02 Jun June Peer Support Call for BIPOC Staff/Volunteers at Victim Services Organizations in NYS
From 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM ET
At Online via Zoom
Free
Presented by the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault / info@nyscasa.org
NYS-based victim services staff and volunteers who identify as Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) are invited to participate in NYSCASA's upcoming BIPOC peer support calls.
These informal conversations are a space for those of us who work or volunteer at a sexual assault/domestic violence/victim services organization in New York State and identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or a person of color to get grounded and connected, discuss how we’re doing, and strategize and share resources with each other.
Our next call is on Thursday, June 16, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Register for the June 16 call here.
Starting in July, calls will be on the second Thursday of every month. Register for monthly calls starting in July here.
Logistics: This event will be held via Zoom meetings. Video participation is not required. Registrants will receive the meeting link by email.
Accessibility: The meetings will be conducted in spoken English. Please indicate in the registration form or by email (ahill@nyscasa.org) if you require language interpretation and/or closed captioning. Please provide this information at least 3 business days prior to the start of the session.
Please share with BIPOC staff and volunteers at your organization!
