Description: NYSCASA will be hosting SASP Grant Administration 101 webinar, in collaboration with Elizabeth Edmondson Bauer, SASP Technical Assistance Specialist of the National Sexual Assault Coalition Resource Sharing Project. This session will provide a refresher for many and an introduction to the new administrators, advocates, counselors and anyone involved in the program. The session will provide a general overview of the purposes of the program, program activities, what Sexual Assault Services Program ("SASP") funds can be used for, programmatic reporting (MUSKIE reports), and financial reporting requirements and more. We will also reserve space at the end for Q&A.

Speaker Bio: Elizabeth Edmondson Bauer has been the Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) Technical Assistance (TA) Specialist at the National Sexual Assault Coalition Resource Sharing Project since 2016 and has worked in victim services and violence prevention since 1999. In her role as the SASP TA Specialist, Elizabeth supports state and territorial administrators in implementing the federal SASP funding by providing tailored individual support, creating resources and tools, hosting meeting and training sessions, and facilitating peer sharing opportunities. In addition to her SASP responsibilities, Elizabeth works with national partners to address the need for housing access for survivors of sexual violence. Elizabeth is an experienced trainer on sexual assault, domestic violence, and trauma.

Intended Audience: SASP Subgrantee Providers, Programmatic Staff, Fiscal Staff, Advocates, Therapist, Counselors, SASP project staff etc.

Logistics: This event will be held via Zoom. Video participation is not required. The event will be recorded. Registrants will receive the Zoom link to join by email.
