Survived and Punished

Join Survived and Punished for a day of panels, strategy sessions, and community building -- all with a focus on launching defense campaigns to free criminalized survivors of gender violence.

The goals of the national convening are for participants from across the country to build on a shared analysis of the criminalization of survival; learn directly from criminalized survivors of violence; strategize ways to deepen local efforts and build a long-term national/transnational agenda through coalition building and cross-movement coordination; and identify successful coalitional strategies between efforts inside and outside of prisons and detention centers.

Please indicate in the registration form if you need child care, interpretation services, or anything else to facilitate your participation. We will do everything we can to make it possible for you to attend. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Please also note in the registration form if you are available to volunteer on the day of the event, and make a donation if you can. All donations will be allocated to event costs with additional funds being directed toward a survivor defense campaign.
