27 Oct Virtual Information Session About Safe Stays for Victim Assistance Programs
Survivors deserve access to safe housing, and advocates deserve tools to provide it.
From 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM
Presented by the New York State Coalition Against Sexual Assault in collaboration with Safe Stays by ReloShare / info@nyscasa.org
Join NYSCASA for a 1-hour virtual informational session about Safe Stays, a resource for securing safe temporary housing for survivors in local hotels. Safe Stays by ReloShare is a new business-to-business booking platform that allows nonprofits and government agencies that serve survivors of violence to book hotel rooms for survivors 24/7 with alias check-ins and no credit card or ID requirements. The launch of the hotel-booking platform was recently featured in The Lily by The Washington Post. Click here to learn more about Safe Stays.
We will be joined by Paige Allmendinger, Head of Safe Stays, who will provide information about the program and answer questions from participants.
Logistics: This event will be held via Zoom meetings. Video participation is not required. Registrants will receive the meeting link by email. Participants can submit questions ahead of time via email: info@nyscasa.org.
Accessibility: The meetings will be conducted in spoken English. Please indicate in the registration form or by email (info@nyscasa.org) if you require language interpretation and/or closed captioning. Please provide this information at least 3 business days prior to the start of the session.
